URL-based Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) is an approach where the URL of a Versa Operating System activation website is emailed to the installer at the customer site. The installer then connects a laptop to the Wi-Fi or LAN port of the Versa branch device, clicks on the URL, and completes the provisioning process. This method does not require a console connection and is one of the methods provided by Versa to provision and configure new VOS devices, making the process convenient and straightforward. ​

An SD-WAN Forwarding Profile is a set of rules that determine how outgoing traffic should be handled within the SD-WAN network. The spoke devices, in this case, can send traffic only to networks behind the hub and not to other spokes directly or through the controller.

To implement a third-party application server as a virtual machine on a Versa CPE, the Service Chain Template should be used. When a speed test fails, it could be due to the speed test module not being activated or the speed test server not being enabled at the remote site. If the speed test module has not been activated, the required functionality to conduct the test will not be operational. Similarly, if the remote site does not have the speed test server enabled, it won't respond to speed test requests. The default load balancing algorithm set in an SD-WAN Forwarding Profile is Weighted Round Robin (WRR).
